Besides being an artist, Pedro Cabral is an architect and Professor of Architecture and Urbanism in Ufal, Alagoas, Brazil. European Fauvism with its ' light seeking' and cheerful palette, the art of Matisse in particular and Impressionists in general have had a strong influence on the artist's technique and artistic concept.
